Patriot's Pen
Patriot’s Pen is the VFW’s national essay competition for students in grades 6–8, encouraging young people to share their thoughts on an annual patriotic theme.

Students compete for recognition and scholarship awards while developing their writing skills and exploring what patriotism, service, and citizenship mean to them.
